As many African countries strive to develop and transform their economies and their societies from a low productivity and abject poverty to a competitive and prosperous society, there is a general acknowledgement that in order to achieve this desired aim, Africa will not only have to muster all available resources and effort it posses but will also have to form alliances partnerships between its own private sector and trade bodies with some developed and emerging economies, to improve the utilisation of available resources efficiently and build strong institutional infrastructure to support their effort, particularly in the  face of ever with an increasing global competitive environment and  rapid pace of  technological development.

AfBBA holds the view that international trading is undoubtedly one of the most effective measures to rectify the prevailing adverse conditions of underdevelopment AfBBA has directed its effort at supporting to activities on Trade development through its activities centred on Trade facilitation, Trade & Investment Promotion and Private sector development in both regions.
