In recognition of the necessity to improve trade ties between the UK and Africa, AfBBA was set up and launched in 2004, with the assistance of the Leicester Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Since, then, it has been able to demonstrate the need for cooperation through series of initiatives.

We stablished the ‘African Village’ at the Royal Agricultural Show’ in 2004, to enable wider participation of African countries at the event.
